Sat 3/20 @ 7pm: Jason Livingston

Posted on

The Big Muddy is excited to welcome a presentation by writer, filmmaker, film programmer, and artist provocateur Jason Livingston. In his films, installations, and programming, Jason, who’s film beguilingly compels us to consider our relationships to land, habitat, and to other species in the context, especially, of climate change, but also within the less geological historical framework of settler colonialism. His award-winning video work has screened widely, including Rotterdam, Anthology, the Austrian Museum, and the Vancouver Art Gallery. He brings a wealth of knowledge about contemporary and historic documentary through his long tenure with the prodigious Flaherty Seminar.
