This program addresses our relationship to the fragile planet we call home. Among Sirens is a short experimental essay about climate crisis and human overreach. The same subject is exemplified in the creative examination of agricultural technology in Field Resistance and nuclear tech in New Mexico Deathwish Diatribe. Taxidermy, about the demolition of the Elwha Dam, celebrates the potential for natural systems to heal. The films Barbara Crites and Tallgrass explore human/environment relations, although from different perspectives. Ethiopia: Daily Fight for Recycling, a portrait of female recyclers, interrogates the complex impacts, externalities and social contexts of environmental solutions. Running time 79 minutes.
